$50K to The Trevor Project
The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning) young people. The organization works to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs on platforms where young people spend their time: our 24/7 phone lifeline, chat, and text. We also run TrevorSpace, the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth, and operate innovative education, research, and advocacy programs.

$50K to Oceana
Oceana seeks to make our oceans more biodiverse and abundant by winning policy victories in the countries that govern much of the world's marine life. Founded in 2001, Oceana is the largest international advocacy organization focused solely on ocean conservation.
THE PROBLEM TO CONSIDER
The oceans are vast, but they are not immune to human influence. Humans have already altered or destroyed marine ecosystems and driven million-year-old species to the brink of extinction. According to a study published in Science, less than 4% of the oceans remain unaffected by human activity.
It comes down to four main factors:
Intel is donating $50,000 to Oceana’s efforts to restore the oceans. Water is essential to the semiconductor manufacturing process as ultrapure water removes impurities from silicon wafers, so the more that can be done to restore and preserve the globe’s water, the better.
